Christmas Tag

I'm back again. :D I'm in the Christmas spirit so I thought I'd do a Christmas tag :D I probably wasn't taged, but I wanted to do the tag anyway.

1) Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
We never had a synthetic Christmas tree so I prefer a real one.. Also I like the scent of a real Christmas tree. :D

2)  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
I always pick vanilla cappuccino or just a fruit juice... It doesn't really matter which month it is. :)

3)  What's your favorite color scheme for decorating the tree?
We always decorate our tree with red ornaments and yellow lights. If I had to pick something different it would be blue or white, but I think red is the best Christmas color. :D

4)  Giving or receiving?
Well, this is a Christmas tag so when it goes to Christmas presents I love receiving.. For Christmas I only exchange gifts with my best friend. I have to say that I love seeing the look on her face when she likes the present. :)

5)  What's your traditional Christmas lunch?
We don't have a traditional Christmas lunch, but we have a traditional Christmas Eve dinner. To begin a dinner my dad always reads a part from a Bible and then we eat garlic with honey and apples with honey (it has a meaning). And than we eat a meal that involves fish. :)

6)  Christmas day fashion
It's usualy pajamas, but sometimes I do dress nicer. ;)

7)  What's your favorite Christmas song?
I like almost all Christmas songs, so I don't really have a favorite one.

8)  What's your favorite Christmas film?
I like Home Alone and It's A Wonderful Life

9)  Open presents before or after lunch?
We open presents after Christmas Eve dinner. We go all around house "looking for presents" and then we get back to the tree and "find" them.

Catrice, Catrice, Catrice! (Part 2)

In this post I will talk about some of Catrice eyeshadows. What I didn't write in the part one is that Catrice has really beautiful packaging. Nothing looks cheap or bad.

First eyeshadow is a liquid metal eyeshadow in Mauves Like Jagger. It is a really nice purply eyeshadow with some sparkles. I really enjoy it even though you might think you couldn't pull it off. I think it would look the best with green eyes, but I'm not saying you couldn't wear it if you have brown eyes.. When you put it in the crease it looks almost grey, but it doesn't look to harsh. These eyeshadows are really pigmented and they leave an unique finish. The range of colors is really nice.

Last but not least is actualy a pallete. It's called Absolute Nude. It comes in just this color range, but there are other palettes. Back to this palette. Colors are as the name says nude. They are all shimmery and nicely pigmented. The first color is a nice highlighting color, but I like to use it on the half of my lids too. The second one I didn't use much. It's a nice pink lid color. I've been using the third one, which is a warm brown color, quite a bit. The fourth one is a lid color again or it can be used as a light crease color. That one I didn't use a lot. The fifth color and the sixth color are nice darker brown colors. They are nice crease colors or you can put them on your bottom lash line to define it. I love the whole palette and surely recommend it. :)

Catrice, Catrice, Catrice! (Part 1)

2 months ago I had a post about some of my favorite brands and their best products. One of the brands was Catrice. It has become my top 1 makeup brand. Since than I tried more of the products and totally fell in love with them. I think it's the best for the price. I'm going to tell you about all of the products I've tried. This topic will probably have three parts. In the first part I will tell you something about nail polishes and lip products.

Catrice nail polishes come in a beautiful huge range of colors. Nothing changed a lot in my colection of their nail polishes so I don't have a lot to talk about there. Going on the lip products.. Their lipsticks are absolutely gorgeous. I have them in the color Star Rust and in the color Hey Nude. They don't have an unpleasant scent and they look beautiful on the lips. Hey Nude is just a regular nude lipstick that I talked about in an already mentioned post, but the Star Rust is pretty brownish-red lipstick with some sparkles. It's not what I usually wear on my lips so I don't wear very often. Maybe I will when the winter comes.

Hey Nude

Star Rust

Next lip product that I really liked is a liquid lip tint in the color Are You Red-Y. It's a nice purply shade. It has a scent so if you are not a fan of scented lip products you might not like it. The scent is actually nice in my opinion. It's kind of a fruity scent. One problem is that it might dry out your lips. To stop it you can use a lipbalm before applying the lip tint. Overall I really like it. Liquid lip tint comes in one more shade but I don't own it.

Last 2 lip products are lipglosses. I think mine are discontinued because when I went to my drugstore last time they didn't have these lipglosses. But I swatched some lipglosses there and noticed that those are better. Ones that I have are a little bit sticky and the aplicator doesn't pick the lipgloss easily. The shade names are Toast With Champagne and Nude-Tritious. I do like them but I'm not so crazy about them. I'm really looking forward buying the lipglosses in my drugstore. :)

Garnier

It's a really good brand. So I'm going to talk about some of their products I've tryed. And explain my morning and night routine.

Garnier Essentials toner (grape extract)

I don't want to just talk about how great Garniers products are, but it's the fact. This toner refreshes, it soothes and it does soften your skin. This toner is made for normal to combinated skin. Don't use this if you have dry skin. Results won't be good. There are other types of this toner so, look for your toner.

Garnier Essentials moisturizer (green one)

This moisturizer is a day care. It's made for oily to combinated skin. So, if you have that tipe of skin it is a really good daily care. It does make your skin feel matte and it's really good for putting before foundation. This can dry your skin even more if you have dry skin. If you have dry areas on your face I will tell you a little tip for that in my routine.

Garnier Essentials moisturizer (white one)

It's made for all tipes of skin. It's a nice night care.

Garnier PureActive ExfoBrusher

It's a face wash. I don't think people with dry skin should use this more than ones in a week. It does clean the skin and it dryes it a bit. That's why you have to put moisturizer after.

Morning routine

In the morning I keep it simple. I put some toner on a cotton pad and clean my face. It actually wakes me up. Then I put the green moisturizer and put my makeup on (or maybe not some days).

Night routine:

If I wore makeup that they I take it off with some cleaning wipes. Every other day I use the PureActive ExfoBrusher and clean the rest of the makeup that cleaning wipes may not take off. Then goes the toner or I use it right after the cleaning wipes. Then I put the white moisturizer on my dry areas (my nose) and it realy helps. On the rest of my face I put the green moisturizer (or you can just use the white one).

Music

When I was in kindergarden I started singing. I always loved music. I performed at the age of 6. I went to some singing classes and I loved it. In 3rd grade I started studying music in a music school. I studied piano and solfeggio (something like music theory). In 6th grade I went to the piano competition. It was a duet with my friend and we got in the 3rd place. I can't remember at which age, but I started to listen to rock music. I got it from my dad. I still love and enjoy it. From the 5th or 6th grade to 7th grade my favorite singer was Avril Lavigne. Now I don't have a favorite singer or a favorite band. I love pop, rock, dubstep, hard rock, heavy metal, classical music... This year in January I started to do covers of some songs and made a SoundCloud account. There are 4 covers right now, but I will try to do more. You can check them out here: https://soundcloud.com/barbara-sherry.
